Đảm bảo product brand standard + customer expectation. Critical role bridge giữa factory output + brand reputation. One bad batch = customer return + brand damage.
QC Specialist là chuyên gia inspection + audit cho fashion product quality. Phân loại theo employer: (1) Brand in-house QC — hire by brand, work với contracted factory; (2) Factory in-house QC — hire by manufacturer; (3) Third-party QC agency — SGS, Bureau Veritas, TUV — independent inspection hired by brand. Phân loại theo focus: (1) Fabric / textile QC — material before cutting; (2) Production QC (mid) — during sewing; (3) Pre-shipment QC (final) — before ship; (4) Returns QC — customer return analysis. QC Specialist — quality guardian
QC Specialist work tại brand in-house / factory / third-party agency. Báo cáo QC Manager / Production Manager / Sourcing Director. Field-heavy job — factory visit, warehouse, sometime travel international (multi-country sourcing). Per garment style: pre-production sample inspection → fabric incoming → mid-production check → final inspection (AQL — Acceptable Quality Level standard). Often manage multiple style + factory parallel.
First gate. Receive fabric + trim shipment from supplier. 4-point inspection: per yard inspect for defect (hole, stain, weave fault). Shade matching: lot-to-lot consistency với approved standard (Datacolor spectrophotometer). GSM check: weight per square meter accurate. Hand feel: subjective quality. Test report: shrinkage, pilling, color fastness (third-party lab). Accept / reject entire batch.
Fabric inspect
Pre-production sample (PPS): first off-line sample inspect against spec. Approve hoặc reject before mass production start. Inspection report: detail finding, photo, defect rate, decision (Accept / Reject / Hold). Send to Production Manager + brand. Vendor performance track: per-factory quality score historic. Root cause analysis: when defect repeat, identify cause (machine, operator, design). Recommend improvement. Factory audit: periodic comprehensive review of factory capability + system. Compliance audit: BSCI, SA8000, customer requirement.
Report + audit
